What’s the Salary?

The salary ranges from $100k up to $150k base plus a $10k car allowance + super depending on your level of experience.

How long do you stay on a salary for?

Depending on the business type (permanent vs temp/contract/perm) how quickly you build your client base and revenue it could be 6 months (permanent) to 18 months (temp/contract/perm) as a general range. The transition to ownership is worked through based on whether you are starting in our Frontline (permanent business) or Express (our temp/contract/perm business),  your individual performance and key milestones.

Do or did you earn incentives/commissions as well as your salary?

Yes, these vary by brand/model.

What support do you get when it comes to leads?

You are largely responsible for business development/lead generation. However, we do provide you with lists of businesses within your territory and provide marketing tools to assist you with your business development activity. You also benefit from national contracts and established client relationships within both brands which opens up opportunity for new business.

What other support do you get?

You receive extensive support including, Marketing Campaigns, Brand Management and Marketing Asset Creation technology, Finance, Legal, HR and Operational support and 1:1 business coaching.

What’s the most challenging part of this program?

The biggest challenge is following the set system for success. This requires self-discipline and tenacity.

However, the system has been proven time and time again over a 30 and 40 year period and is used by over 850 businesses worldwide.

What other rewards and recognition programs or incentives are there?

We provide extensive rewards and recognition across the business including annual sales incentive trips locally and internationally. Annual Awards which are celebrated at an annual conference for you and your staff. We also regularly run short sales incentive programs designed to motivate and incentivise you and your teams.

What systems do you get?

Systems include, ATS systems, marketing and social media management tools, prospect databases, websites, pay rate compliance and learning management systems amongst others.

Why would someone not succeed/become business owners?

The biggest barrier to success is a lack of desire to do business development activity and not following the system.

Do you have to “buy” the business?

Yes, however we provide finance options so you do not have to utilise savings and also offer the business at a significant discount to recruiters in our program.

Did you have to come up with all the cash at once to buy when you when you move from employee to business owner?

No, you don’t if you don’t want to. We have options to help you transition to ownership without having to have the cash up front.

How much revenue do you need to be generating before you became a business owner?

For our permanent recruitment model, you need to have enough placements in your pipeline to cover your salary and account for any possible fall outs. For our temporary model you need to be billing 2000 hours per week consistently for a few weeks.

Do you pay royalties or other fees to Frontline/Express when you became a franchisee?

Yes, these vary depending on the model.

What value do you get from being part of a franchise group vs going alone?

 Firstly you are not alone, you are part of a network of other supportive business owners, you are supported by a head office team including your own coach and you have a lot of back office support leaving you to grow the business.

You also benefit from the brand awareness built over decades, marketing campaigns, group buying discounts, financial, legal and HR support.

Do you get ongoing training or just initial training before you go into the business by yourself?

Yes, we have a dedicated learning and development team delivering ongoing training for you and your team as well as two face to face learning events a year. You also have access to a dedicated online Learning Management System so allow you to access training 24/7 On Demand.

Can you recruit someone outside the territory? How does that work?

You can within a set framework and set of rules. These rules also protect other people within the network from recruiting in your territory.

What sort of finance support do you get once you become a franchisee?

We assist with invoicing and collections for the Frontline Perm Model, for the Express Temp/Contract/Perm business we do the invoicing and we also underwrite the payroll for casual employees that are employed by Express and placed on-site with clients. We assist with forecasting and financial planning via our 1:1 business coaching. We also provide the tools to ensure you are financially compliant with payrates etc. In addition you also benefit from group buying power with job boards and other vendors.

What if a national client wants you to recruit a role in someone else’s territory.

We have policies in place to allow you to work with other franchisees and national clients in these scenarios.
