How Jennifer Came Across The Frontline Franchise Opportunity
My background has always been in retail and I’ve held different management roles throughout retail in the companies I’d worked for and I’d used Frontline in the past.
Did you have any staffing Industry experience?
The staffing industry experience I’d had in the past was in the companies I’d worked with and putting on people from store-based roles through to management and through to head-office roles.
What attracted you to the Frontline franchise opportunity?
I was looking for a role in Sydney and I came to discuss the possibilities with Frontline recruitment. It was then suggested to me, had I ever thought about being a recruitment consultant in the Frontline environment. Then the opportunity presented itself and I became a franchise owner.
What makes a successful Frontline franchise owner?
It’s being passionate about the business you’re in and having it fit into your lifestyle. You’ve got to know your clients, you’ve got to know your candidates and really want to fill the right roles with the right people. You need to have a sense of urgency and really having fun along the way.
What is a typical day like for you as a Frontline franchise owner?
A typical day in the life of a franchise owner is busy! There is so much to do, the days go so quickly. It’s dealing with candidates, clients, your colleagues and the fantastic relationships you build on the way through. You have a sense of urgency, you are giving it your all, it is so rewarding. What makes it particularly rewarding is sharing your wins with those in the network, the other franchise owners.
What does the future hold for the Frontline brand?
The sky is the limit! We’ve just got so many tools and opportunities that have come our way and it’s just something you want to be part of, the expansion of Frontline and where we are going.
How does the Frontline HQ team support you with running your franchise?
The Frontline HQ team help me support my business by the expansion that’s happened in head office. We have many video catch up calls and hear what’s going on, what’s new. There’s been an expansion in marketing, finance, operations, learning and development and the database.
What advice do you have for anyone thinking of investing n a Frontline franchise?
My advice for someone considering joining the Frontline franchise is to do your homework. It’s certainly a great opportunity that you really want to be part of, and it’s really rewarding to work in your own business, have a sense of achievement and work your lifestyle around the hours you need to work.
Between Frontline and Express Employment, what does it mean to be part of the largest global staffing franchise system?
It’s given us so much more support. Our head office has expanded, there are so many more opportunities and it’s really something you need to be part of. It’s great to be learning and being taught by the masters along the way.
What’s the most rewarding part of being a Frontline franchise Owner?
The most rewarding part about being a Frontline franchise owner is actually filling those roles for the clients and seeing their satisfaction. It’s giving a candidate their dream role and seeing them blossom in a new environment. It’s the people you meet, the candidates, the clients, and your colleagues. It’s sharing the wins, but also the lifestyle it provides you with, and having fun along the way. It’s just something you want to be part of!
